When can I move my things into the storage unit?
Once you reserve your unit, sign the contract and pay the first months rent and security deposit you are free to move in.  You are responsible for your own lock and are welcome to move in any time convenient for you. Spence Storage is open 24 hours per day and there is LED security lighting if you would like to move in after dark.
How do I pay my bill?
We recommend paying via check.  Payment is due on the first of each month and can be sent to Spence Storage, LLC. P.O. Box 180252, Delafield, WI 53018-0252.  You can also pay with cash and alternatively drop off cash or check to our sister company Rundle-Spence Co. at 835 S. Hickory St. Fond du Lac.  This is directly west of the storage facility. Please see our New Renter Tips.
What is my responsibility if my address changes?
Please email any contact information changes to info@spencestorage or call 920-238-3320.

How should I pack my things for storage?
We recommend placing your belongings on pallets due to the changing weather conditions in Wisconsin.  As the weather changes from cold to warm in the spring it is common for cement floors to condense and retain moisture.
What forms of payments do you accept?
We accept cash or check.  We will be accepting credit cards and electronic payment methods in the near future.
Do I need to bring my own lock?
Yes, you must provide your own lock.  We recommend good quality outdoor locks.  If you are in need of a lock, we can provide you with quality commercial locks suitable for outdoor use.  These locks can be purchased at Rundle-Spence, our sister company just to the west of Spence Storage.  Please see our New Renter Tips.
Are there any restricted Items?
We do not recommend storing any hazardous or flammable chemicals.
